Never too early right :)

In order to celebrate Douglas' birthday and father's day weekend- we started with Henry's first trip to the temple and my first time back- thanks to Douglas :) I think Henry really liked the temple and he got to enjoy his first bottle there. Henry gave us another gift that night 5 hours of sleep (a feeding break) and then another 4 hours of sleep (he hasn't done that since).










After the temple we went an Indian restaurant for dinner. When we got there we were the only ones but it was delicious. Once we left there were several other couples.






After the Indian restaurant we came home and celebrated with the Forrests who brought Douglas special bbq supplies for the next day! A delicious pork love rub that was delicious.









Douglas also celebrated his birthday by going for a run around the river. When he came home it was time to take his ribs off the smoker. I am not a huge ribs person because I don't like bones in my meat. But these ribs really were delicious (I think it was because of the rub and we didn't put bbq sauce on all of them (I don't like bbq sauce)) - I also discovered that I really like vinegar on my ribs.





Henry slept through most of the celebrations!
