Gardening
I have always loved gardening. I am curious to see if my mom and dad agree with that statement because I always feel like I was really excited to turn the dirt and plant the seeds and check on them often. I didn't care much for weeding or thinning but I really liked the planting and the harvest. I don't know there is just something about putting a little seed in the ground and then getting to eat something later on. So Douglas and I asked our land lady if we could use our driveway to plant a little garden and she was excited for us. We ended up planting cilantro, lettuce, beans, tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower (Douglas thought he was buying brocoli) and pumpkins. We had a really warm weekend when we planted everything and now it has been cold and rainy so I hope everything pulls through until we get the heat back.

can't wait to see the fruits of your labor, he he, in more ways than one!
love, mommy
Love the garden. Do you remember the watermelon that I believe you planted and we ended up actually having a great watermelon grow and we ate it. It was planted right next to the back porch.
